    Repenting & Preparing for Dhul-Hijjah

    as-salaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wabarakaatuh,

Friday Oct 4th was apparently the 28th of Dhul-Qa'dah in Saudi. Meaning that (depending on the sighting of the moon), the 1st of Dhul-Hijjah 1434 would be Sunday (Oct 6th) or Monday (Oct 7th).

Considering the great merit Allaah has placed in the first 10 days of the month, it is important that we prepare for them adequately so that, we may inshaa'Allaah, be from the successful ones. Two important steps that the people of knowledge have advised we take in preparing for such seasons of virtue are:

    1. Sincerely repenting to Allaah
    2. Learning about the good deeds recommended in those seasons
