Call to assist Ahlus-Sunnah in Dammaj, by Shaykh Rabee' and Shaykh Muhammad bin Haadee (hafidhahumullaah)

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Haadee (hafidhahullaah) Advises Regarding Aiding Ahlus-Sunnah in Dammaj Against the Raafidah

The following is the advice of the noble Shaykh Muhammad ibn Hadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah Ta'aala) regarding the seige that has been laid upon Dammaj by the Raafidah in Yemen.

Question: We have a question from Yemen. It [reads]: Our Shaikh (may Allaah preserve you), it is not hidden from you that which our brothers Ahlus-Sunnah in Dammaj have encountered from the severe seige placed upon them by the Raafidah (may Allaah humiliate them). So what is your advice and instruction to them, in light of this occurence, whether it be to Ahlus-Sunnah in general, or to Ahlus-Sunnah in Dammaj?

Answer: "I say - and all the praise is for Allaah - the Raafidah have not ceased to have enmity for the people of Islaam from day one. And they lie and wait for them to encounter misfortune. May Allaah give them what they deserve.

Ahlus-Sunnah encountered no misfortune except that the Rawaafid had some type of hand in it. The fall of the 'Abbaasee Dynasty was at their hands. And that which befell the Islamic nations from inequites, they [the Rawaafid] had a major hand in bringing that about. And we ask Allaah for safety and security.

My advice to our brothers - Ahlus-Sunnah in Yemen, in general - is that they rally together and unite in their stance in the face of (against) these Rawaafid - the enemies of Allaah and the enemies of His Messenger (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam), the enemies of this correct religion. This is what I advise them with.

And that is done by clarifying the way of the people of haqq (truth), and spreading it amongst the people, and by exposing that which the Rawaafid are upon from that corrupt path, clarifying it to the people, making evident its disgraceful points, laying it bare and making it clear to the people until they know the evil of the Rawaafid.

This is what is befitting, and it is also obligatory upon them that they strive hard in spreading the correct da'wah, and spreading the Sunnah, and giving victory to the Sunnah.

As for our brothers Ahlus-Sunnah in Dammaj, we invoke Allaah Subhanahu wa Ta'aala for them. And we invoke Allaah - (Jalla wa 'Ala) The Majestic and High - by His Greatest Name*, which if He is asked by it, He gives, and if He is invoked by it, He responds. [We ask Allaah] that He remove from it (Dammaj) these filthy and vile Raafidah, and that He break their backs, and that He eradicate them, and that He divides their group, breaks their power, and divides their rank, and humiliates them.

Free from any imperfection and Most High is He, and He is the best of those who is asked.

I advise them [Ahlus-Sunnah] with patience, and to have submissiveness before Allaah, The Blessed and High, in exterting all possible efforts. And there's nothing greater than du'aa, and submissiveness to Allaah, The Majestic and High. By aiding His Religion, and making His Word Uppermost. Du'aa is a great weapon, which many of the people are heedless about. So they take refuge in preparing the tangible things - the weapons or defensive materials - but they are heedless regarding the great figurative weapon. And it is, as Allaah has said:

    ْ يَنْصُرْكُمُ اللَّهُ فَلاَ غَالِبَ لَكُمْ وَإِنْ يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِه ِِ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

If Allaah helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allaah (Alone) let believers put their trust. (Aali 'Imran, ayah 160)

So it is upon them to supplicate and turn to Allaah, Majestic and High, and submit to Him, to remove from them that which has descended upon them. I also advise them to be firm and to defend themselves from the transgressions of those who have transgressed against them, and to repel them with that which they are able.

And it is upon our brothers - Ahlus-Sunnah - to aid them in Dammaj. We say this with conviction, even though we have refuted Yahya al-Hajoori, or we have refuted so and so. For refutation and clarifying the truth is one door, while aiding the Sunnah and its people is another door.

So it is an obligation upon Ahlus-Sunnah who are near Dammaj and close to them, and those who are close to them, that they aid their brothers, and they stand with them as one rank, and help them in the face of these oppressive transgressors. And fight with them. Jihaad with them is obligatory in opposition to the Raafidah, those who are near to them and those who are near to them.

Let not one speculate and think that since we have refuted Yahya al-Hajoori of Dammaj that we abandon the Sunnah or its people. The refuge is with Allaah. Ahlus-Sunnah are our brothers, and our kindred and our people in every place and any time. We become angry on their behalf, and we rejoice at their happiness, and we feel pain as a result of their pain.

So it is obligatory upon Ahlus-Sunnah in Yemen in general to aid them and to stand with them in the face of these Hootheeyeen (Hoothis), who have transgressed and thought that they would devour Ahlus-Sunnah. It is upon our brothers Ahlus-Sunnah from Yemen to aid their brothers in Dammaj. And it is upon them, if they are able, to surround these Rawaafid from behind so that there's another circle around them. Since they have laid seige to Dammaj, then they [Ahlus-Sunnah] should lay seige to them [Rawaafid], and cut off their reinforcements.

This is what we advice our brothers Ahlus-Sunnah in Yemen to aid their brothers in Dammaj with everything they are able.

And Allaah knows best. And may prayers and the peace of Allaah be upon His servant, our Messenger Muhammad, his family and all his companions. All Praise is for Allaah, the Lord of the 'Alameen (all that exists)."

    * Imam Ahmad (rahimahullaah) recorded that Asma` bint Yazid bin As-Sakan said:

"I heard the Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) say about these two Ayat:

    اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهََ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

Allaah! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever-Living (Al-Hayy), the One Who sustains and protects all that exists (Al-Qayyoom) [al-Baqarah, ayah 255; Ayat al-Kursee]

    and

Alif-Lam-Mim. Allaah! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever-Living (Al-Hayy), the One Who sustains and protects all that exists (Al-Qayyoom) [Al 'Imran, ayat 1-2]:

They contain Allaah's Greatest Name." [This is also the narration collected by Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah, and At-Tirmidhi said "Hasan Sahih."]

Ibn Marduwyah recorded that Abu Umaamah (radiallaahu 'anhu) reported that the Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: "Allaah's Greatest Name - if He was supplicated with it, He answers the supplication - is in three Soorahs: Al-Baqarah, Al 'Imran, and Ta-Ha."

Hisham bin 'Ammar, the Khateeb of Damascis (one of the narrators in the above narration), said: "As for Al-Baqarah, it is in:

    اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهََ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

Allah! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever-Living (Al-Hayy), the One Who sustains and protects all that exists (Al-Qayyoom) [al-Baqarah, ayah 255; Ayat al-Kursee].

In Al 'Imran, it is in:

    أَلِفلَاممِيماللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهََ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّوم

Alif-Lam-Mim. Allah! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever-Living (Al-Hayy), the One Who sustains and protects all that exists (Al-Qayyoom) [Al-'Imran, ayat 1-2], while in Ta-Ha, it is in:

    وَعَنَتِ الْوُجُوه ُُ لِلْحَيِّ الْقَيُّومِ

And (all) faces shall be humbled before (Allah), the Ever-Living (Al-Hayy), the One Who sustains and protects all that exists (Al-Qayyoom) [Ta-Ha, ayah 111]."

In Imam as-Sa'dee's Tafseer of Ayat al-Kursi, he (rahimahullaah) wrote:

"He is 'Al-Hayy': The Ever-Living, to whom belongs all of the qualities of perfect life; including perfection in hearing, vision, ability, will, might, knowledge, wisdom, mercy, and other proper attributes relating to His essence.

He is 'Al-Qayyoom': The Sustainer, Who is independent and free of any need of His creation. He sustains all of existence. He originated everything into existence, maintained and provided everything with sustenance, and all the necessities for existence and survival.

Allaah's name 'Al-Hayy' indicates all of Allaah's attributes relating to His essence, while, 'Al-Qayyoom' entails all of His attributes describing His actions. Thus, all of His lofty attributes refer back to these two beautiful names.

Hence, it is narrated that 'Al-Hayy, Al-Qayyoom' is the greatest name, which if Allaah is invoked by, He answers, and if requested by, He grants."
Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
