    Shaikh Yahyah al-Hajooree: His Ghuloo and Going Beyond Bounds

    PART 1.

    All praise is due to Allaah, Lord of Creation, and may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon his Messenger. To proceed: In recent times we have seen an upsurge in individuals who have taken it upon themselves to castigate and criticise the senior scholars. Some of these individuals possess something of knowledge, but the manner in which they address their criticisms and the way they portray these criticisms display their excesses and their going beyond bounds against those senior to them in age and knowledge. This is made even worse when these criticisms are based upon weak evidences and/or exaggerations against their "opponent". These individuals do not consult with those more grounded than them in the various sciences of the Deen, they do not verify with those more senior than them in the details of the Salafi Manhaj and 'Aqeedah - they do not ask them what necessitates allegiance and enmity, or boycotting or whether a particular position removes one from the ranks of ahlus-Sunnah. And even when they are told categorically that these affairs do not necessitate refutations, boycotting and removal from the ranks of ahlus-Sunnah, they ignore these knowledge-based rulings due to following of desires. Rather they rely upon themselves, and this is unhealthy and leads to errors in one's understanding. The Salaf used to refer to others who they felt were well-grounded and had deep insight so as to protect themselves from error and falling short:

    ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Alee Laylah said: “I reached one hundred and twenty from the Companions of Allaah’s Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) from the Ansaar; there was not a man from them except that when he was asked regarding a matter, he would suffice him with his brother (from the Ansaar)”

    This was the humbleness of the Salaf, it is also a protection against error and establishes correctness of one's stance that one refers to those who are more knowledgeable:

    ‘Umayr bin Sa’d said: “I asked ‘Alqamah regarding an issue; So he said: ‘Go to ‘Abeedah (Ibn ‘Amr Salamaanee al-Maraadee) and ask him’. So I went to ‘Abeedah, and he said: ‘Go to ‘Alqamah’. I said: ‘Alqamah sent me to you!’ So he said: ‘Go to Masrooq and ask him.’ So I went to Masrooq and he said: ‘Go to ‘Alqamah and ask him’. I said; ‘Alqamah sent me to ‘Abeedah, and ‘Abeedah sent me to you’. He said: ‘Then go to ‘Abdur-Rahman ibn Abee Laylah’. So I went him and asked him and he became displeased. Then I returned to ‘Alqamah and informed him [regarding that which took place], so he said: ‘It used to be said: A people give fatawa, and they are the lowest (or least) amongst them in knowledge.’

    Unfortunately, Shaikh Yahyah al-Hajooree has fallen into this mistake, and as a result has declared bonifide Salafi ulamah to be hizbees and innovators, he has made allegiance and enmity based upon his stances, boycotting those from ahlus-Sunnah who disagree with him, warning against them. It is unfortunate that many of his followers, who have taken knowledge only from the direction and perspective of Yahyah al-Hajooree to the exclusion of others have wronged themselves by supporting Yahyah in his excesses. Attacks began from Shaikh Yahyah against those around him in Yemen and one by one extended to those who did not agree with him from the well-known and senior students of Shaikh Muqbil, and then extending further into Saudi, Kuwait and other lands whereby he would also severely criticise anyone who would not agree with him in his exaggerated stances against some of the mashaikh of Yemen and Saudi Arabia, accusing them of being hizbiyyoon and those who harbour enmity towards Shaikh Muqbil and his da'wah! His supporters in other lands would cause rifts and separation over the positions of Shaikh Yahyah, accusing established Salafi mosques and Islamic Centres of being upon hizbiyyah. Advice after advice came from the scholars regarding Shaikh Yahyah that was sent to him and directed to him, yet he would only respond by criticising the scholars who were advising him, so much so that even Shaikh Rabee' started becoming a target of his criticism due to him advising Shaikh Yahyah, and this criticism has not ceased till now. It is truly unfortunate that some of those youth in the West who sought out somewhere to study and ended up in Dammaaj became infected with this ghuloo and they exported it to the West. One must not be deceived by the writings and sayings of these youth that are exaggerations of the truth and even outright lies. And we seek Allaah's safety.

    It should be known firstly, by Allaah, that the scholars have shown great patience with Shaikh Yahyah al-Hajooree (may Allaah guide him) and his ghuloo and his excesses. They have advised him to to cease from this path and manhaj of extremism. And from those who have advised him is the noble Imaam, the noble Scholar, al-Allaamah Rabee' bin Haadee al-Madkhalee (may Allaah preserve him). He is older, wiser, more knowledgeable. more capable, more specialised in the fields of hadeeth, al-Jarh wat-Ta'deel, aqeedah, manhaj and in fiqh. He is more aware of the plots of the hizbiyeen and innovators than Shaikh Yahyah - he is likewise more aware of the conditions of narrators, the scholars and the general Salafis in our times. This has been testified to by the Imaams of the era: Ibn Baaz, Ibn Uthaimeen and al-Albaanee (rahimahumullaah), and countless others as well as the Muhaddith and Scholar, Muqbil bin Haadee (rahimahullaah), the Imaam of Yemen in his time. These praises and qualifications are beyond what Shaikh Yahyah has received or can even imagine receiving, though his blind followers portray him to be greater than his true level.

    It is amazing that after knowing all this and previously affirming it's correctness, some of the fanatics and partisans of Shaikh Yahyah, have moved on to discrediting this mighty scholar, Rabee' al-Madkhalee under the guise of "naseehah". All this in their blind following of Shaikh Yahyah, his mistakes and his rage. A man in which they see no wrong, the one whom they regard to be the "Imaam ath-Thaqalain" (the Imaam of Mankind and Jinn!) in their exaggerated praise which he does not forbid. They exaggerate his status far beyond his level - the level he was and is still known to be at by the great Ulamah of this era. This has skewered their view of the Scholars and the students of knowledge and made knowledge something restricted to one viewpoint to the exclusion of others. So much so that if anyone disagrees with Shaikh Yahyah, even in matters of well-known differing in ijtihaad, then he is vilified, abused, cursed, abandoned and belittled. The Westerner is deceived by the constant portrayal of Yahyah al-Hajooree as an "Allaamah", an "Imaam", the "Trustworthy adviser" and other exagerated praises that confuse the Westerner into thinking that al-Hajooree is of the level of Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullaah) or Shaikh Rabee', or even Ibn Baaz and al-Albaanee! This is not a criticism of the ulamah who spoke well of Shaikh Yahyah and described him with goodness (in the past), but rather it is a criticism of Shaikh Yahyah and his followers who take some of these descriptions and exaggerate them further and use them to raise him beyond his level, so-much-so that even if Shaikh Rabee' is belittled excuses are made for Yahyah's behaviour under the guise that he is the "Muhaddith" and "an-Naasih al-Ameen" so therefore "his jarh is accepted" and whoever opposes it must be refuted!

    Alhamdulillaah, Shaikh Rabee' affirmed the mistaken manhaj of Shaikh Yahyah in the manner he passes rulings upon others in the Hajj of 1428H (2007CE) in the presence of four Mashayikh from Ahlus-Sunnah - Shaikh Muhammad al-Imaam, Shaikh Abdul-Azeez al-Bur'ee, Shaikh adh-Dhimaaree and Shaikh Somalee. In this gathering Shaikh Rabee' requested from him to cease from this path, and that he take to verification with true and real proofs and evidences against those he has declared to be hizbees! - and to stop in this path by way of which the Da'watus-Salafiyyah is being demolished. And when Shaikh al-Hajooree was unable to bring these clear evidences and proofs, he remained silent and displayed his approval with Shaikh Rabee' (hafidhahullaah). Then upon returning to Dammaaj, he rejected all that which the 'Ulamah had affirmed. So Shaikh Rabee', the elder, the precise criticiser, may Allaah preserve him, remained patient with Yahyah al-Hajooree, showing him gentleness, advising him, and even praising him upon the good that he had with him. He even forbade that Shaikh Yahyah be refuted, and called for the shutting down of websites that open the doors of refutation. This advice was made widespread and the Salafees received it with welcome and with open arms. The noble Shaikh Rabee' desired that the ranks not be divided and torn apart due to this fitnah. Unfortunately this information is unknown to the English reader due to the fanatacism of some of the youth to Shaikh Yahyah - who only present one-sided weak refutations against some of the noblest of the Ahlus-Sunnah in our times, by which the unattentive English reader is deceived.

    Shaikh Rabee' stated categorically in his advice:

    "I praise Allaah upon this, and upon your tremendous da'wah that has illuminated Yemen and scattered and eliminated the darkness of ignorance, shirk, superstitious practices and Rafdh (of the Shi'ah). So you all, by Allaah, are in a great bounty - the enemies are severely jealous of you, and they lie in wait ready to ambush you, encircling you. So they love the likes of this differing, and the likes of this fitnah. So whoever gives honour to this da'wah, sincerely for Allaah, then let him strive in this da'wah. And that is by way of unity and casting aside division, for indeed differing is evil, [as Allaah stated]: "And do not dispute with one another lest you lose courage and your strength departs" (al-Anfaal:46)"
    And Shaikh Rabee' continued with his advice saying:

    "And all praise is due to Allaah - there are ulamah there, intellegent working to extinguish this fitnah. And it is not upon the small, younger ones to clash, quarrel and combat with each other, so this one takes sides with this one. This is the way of Ahlul-Bid'ah, O brothers, those who do not have intellegence, those who do not possess [the ability or desire] to distinguish [between truth and falsehood], they have no fundamentals, they have no principles. You, you have fundamentals, you have principles that you rely upon, depend upon, especially in the face of these trials - may Allaah bless you. I advise you with the fear of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic. and sincerity to Allaah."
    He also stated:

    "If any of the two sides [in this dispute between Shaikh Yahyah and Shaikh Abdur-Rahmaan al-Adanee] had been an innovator, then we would have raised our voices against him and make clear his bid'ah! However there is not amongst them an innovator. There is not amongst them a caller to bid'ah, there is nothing [like that] amongst them. Rather there are personal goals and issues - and Allaah knows best - that are being kindled and ignited like I stated by these infiltrators from here and there, even if their numbers are small. May Allaah bless you. So all of them are Salafis and all of them are upon excellence. All of them, inshaa' Allaah, are mujaahidoon. May Allaah bless you. And Shaitaan does not rejoice in anything like he does in differing, he does not rejoice in anything like he does in differing! [Allaah stated:] "And say to my servants that they should only say those words that are best. [Because] Shaytaan verily sows disagreements amongst them. Surely Shaytaan is to man a plain enemy." (al-Israa: 53) So I hope for you, O brothers, that if there are between you differences, to shake hands now (i.e. to give them up), from now..."
    So Ahlus-Sunnah rejoiced at this advice, and it was spread in every place. However it was Yahyah al-Hajooree who rejected (whilst remaining mute in front of Shaikh Rabee'). So-much-so that since that time his attacks have extended to the likes of the Shaikh, al-'Allaamah Ubaid al-Jaabiree (hafidhahullaah). Shaikh Yahyah not satisfied with those whom he had declared to be innovators and hizbees in Yemen, he proceeded to abuse and vilify Shaikh 'Ubaid al-Jaabiree. Again an 'Aalim more senior to him in knowledge, in age, and in praise from the Scholars for him - known for nearly half a century to be a man of Sunnah. Yahyah al-Hajooree stated regarding al-Allaamah Ubaid al-Jaabiree that his "fitnah" will not harm Dammaj rather it is like the "passing wind (flatulence) of an old man"! and "that he is blind in sight and insight", referring to the fact that Shaikh Ubaid is blind in his eyes. Further no one from the Scholars preceded him in his refutation nor did anyone approve of it, nor did anyone join him! Except of course for some of his fanatical ignorant followers. Rather scholar after scholar defended Shaikh Ubaid from these exagerations and refutations: Shaikh Rabee', Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee, Shaikh Muhammad Baazmool, Shaikh Ahmad Baazmool, Shaikh Saalih as-Suhaimee, Shaikh Abdur-Rahmaan Muhiyud-deen and many others. It is amazing how the fanatics of al-Hajooree used to claim that Shaikh Rabee' supports them in their ghuloo against Shaikh Ubaid, all based upon their own fantasies and lies. They went to such excesses in their attacks upon Shaikh Ubaid, that one of them wrote in his fanatical following of Shaikh Yahyah, the following words, invoking his death with only one step away from takfeer:

    "Those wallowing in the hizbiyyah of Abd al-Rahman al-Adanee - may Allaah relieve Ahl al-Sunnah from his evil in the land of the two sanctuaries: Ubayd al-Jaabiree, the electivist, straying, deviant, misguided, misguiding others, chief of the new hizbiyyah and its founder, by his own textual statement. Heresy (zandaqah) and apostasy (riddah) is feared for him due to his blindness in vision, and wallowing in falsehood. The step-ladder for the partisans...."

    How is it possible for Yahyah al-Hajooree to approve of such speech which borders on takfeer? This is ghuloo and excessiveness that the sharee'ah does not allow, yet it was posted and approved on a website supported by Yahyah al-Hajooree! The same website rebuked by Shaikh Rabee', Shaikh Ubaid and Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee. A website that is a gift to Ahlul-Bid'ah, just like the AHYA website!

    And from the reprehensible attacks on Shaikh Rabee' that were read and recited in front of Yahyah al-Hajooree, we have the lines of poetry entitled "Nashar ar-Riq fit-Tanbeeh 'ala Annal-Jamaa'ah maa waafaqal-Haqq" or "An-Nus-h al-Badee' lish-Shaikh Rabee". Here's an extract from the 26 lines of insults upon Shaikh Rabee:

    "O [mischievious] Crow of misfortune and dissention! No matter how much we try to meet, except we find it an unsurmountable feat (uphill struggle)...
    How much we knocked the door, we found the door not except closed firmly more...
    Amazed truly we are with Rabee', his flowers have withered on the brink of rot...
    Amazed again we are with Rabee'; with gentle ease touched us he, with a cold plot...
    Lying in wait with fiery heat of harm; and with sedition that kindles the fire..."
    In these lines there are a number of attacks upon Shaikh Rabee' from this evil poet who recited in the presence of Yahyah al-Hajooree:

    1. Shaikh Rabee's credibility and honesty is criticised in the presence of Yahyah al-Hajooree by his blind followers.
    2. The saying of this wicked poet, "His flowers have withered on the brink of rot!" - This is precisely what Abul-Hasan al-Ma'rabi used to respond with.
    3. That Shaikh Rabee' has "a cold scheming-plot"
    4. That Shaikh Rabee' is deceived by large numbers and not convinced by the truth.

    Instead of defending and protecting the honour of Shaikh Rabee', who was the beloved companion of Shaikh Muqbil bin Haadee (rahimahullaah) - Yahyah al-Hajooree listened to these lines of sin and treachery towards an Imaam of the Sunnah. In his defense of these lines of poetry Yahyah al-Hajooree stated in his own voice in the audio entitled: "Radd al-Hajooree 'ala Muhammad bin Haadee" - a lecture wherein he insults, abuses and belittles the noble scholar Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee, Shaikh Yahyah stated: "They say that our brothers speak [ill] of Shaikh Rabee and I remain silent. This is not correct..." He then he goes on to say:

    "As for the poetry of our brother Najeeb which he recited, then this is an advice - and neither Shaikh Rabee', nor me, nor you and nor one who is above us or is greater than us, is beyond advice. We advise him and we regard him to be wrong in his inclination to the Hizb of [Abdur-Rahmaan] al-Adanee, he is wrong from head to toe!..."
    On the website of the supporters and blind followers of Shaikh Yahyah, regardless of whether he is right or wrong, Shaikh Yahyah stated specifically about the Imaam Rabee' al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah):

    "...although when a person becomes older his strength and ability weakens. Nevertheless he (Shaikh Rabee') is a Salafi, yet we continue to criticize him regarding the case of al-Adani and we consider him utterly mistaken regarding it. Because he has caused division within the Salafi da'wah due to this mistake which has occurred from him - and from those who have been deceived by him whether al-Wasaabi or al-Adani or the likes of them, they have caused harm upon the da'wah."     Is this befitting speech by a child to his father? Or a student to an Imaam? An Imaam who was the contemporary of his own teacher, i.e. Al-Muhaddith Muqbil bin Haadee (rahimahullaah)? His father both in age and knowledge, as Yahyah al-Hajooree himself used to portray Shaikh Rabee'? So look at this speech O reader, how he belittles and allows belittlement of Shaikh Rabee' (hafidhahullaah) for no reason except that he disagrees with him. Look at how these lines of poetry are filled with disrespect and belittlement, yet Shaikh Yahyah calls it "naseehah"! If this is nasheehah, may Allaah protect Shaikh Rabee' from his enmity and hatred!

    And if Yahyah al-Hajooree regards these insults upon Shaikh Rabee' as merely lines of advice, then why did he not regard Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee's speech regarding him as merely advice also? Why did he take so much offense? Why then, respond to Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee, who is from the well-known scholars of this ummah, with such anger and venom?! Why is that when three words eminated from Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee (hafidhahullaah) of advice to Shaikh Yahyah, he responded with tens of words in refutation? The fact is that Yahyah al-Hajooree sees his positions to be beyond question and reproach - he his filled with self-praise and amazement at his own efforts. If anyone disagrees or opposes him, he regards them as opposers of the Sunnah, hizbees and innovators - subsequently he opens the flood gates of "refutations" so-much-so even the lowliest of his blind followers who is a pauper in terms of knowledge starts speaking ill of great scholars. This is the ghuloo and excesses of those who go beyond bounds and do not know their own level!

    It is not necessarily the fact that Shaikh Yahyah "sees errors" in others that is the problem - rather it is firstly establishing that they are indeed errors, and secondly how to deal with these "perceived errors". Read here the path that Ahlus-Sunnah take in rectifying the mistakes of others from Ahlus-Sunnah, especially if they happen to be from the 'Ulamah. Shaikhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) stated:

    For this reason it obligatory to make clear the condition of the one who erred in hadeeth or in narrating and the one who errs in his opinion of his fatwa and the who errs in zuhd or in matters of worship. That is the case even if the erroneous one is a mujtahid who has been deceived by his error - and is [thereby] rewarded for his ijtihaad. Making clear speech and action that is established [and proven] by way of the Book and Sunnah is waajib and that is even if his opposition occurred in speech and action. And as for the one from whom it is known that the ijtihaad is admissible, then it is not permissible to mention him from the viewpoint of vilification of him and ascribing sinfulness to him, for indeed Allaah has forgiven him his error - rather it is obligatory due to what he possesses of Imaan and taqwa to have allegiance for him and to love him; and to establish that which Allaah has obligated from his rights of mentioning him with good, to supplicate for him and other than that."     Arrow Yahyah al-Hajooree: his Excesses and Ghuloo

    Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadi al-Madkhali on Yahyah al-Hajooree:
    "He has gone beyond bounds and no one is safe from him"
    "The Ulamaa of the Sunnah, the heads of the Da’watus Salafiyah are cursed in his gathering in recited lines of poetry, then he praises these individuals who curse?!"

    PART 2.

    Bismillahi Wal Hamdullillah Was Salaatu Was Salaamu 'Alaa Rasoolillahi

    Ammaa B'ad

    This is a question that was posed to Shaikh Muhammad ibn Haadi Al Madkhali– Hafidhahullah which was part of a lecture in manhaj delivered by The Noble Shaikh – May Allah preserve Him – when he met with his sons (i.e younger students of knowledge) in the city of Jeezaan on Tuesday the 8th of Shawaal in the year 1432 (corresponding to tuesday the 6th of september 2011) after answering some of the questions posed by some of the attendees.

    That which follows in the transcript of the question and its answer.

    Question: The question was read by Shaikh Muhammad ibn Haadi (may Allah preserve him):

    This is a question concerning the speech about Al-Hajoori and what is (the problem) between us.
    Shaikh Muhammad ibn Haadi responds by saying:

    “There is nothing between him and I, there is nothing between him and I other than what you have already heard. There is no dispute between him and I, though his speaking ill of the Ulamaa of the Sunnah has increased, him and his students. He has gone beyond bounds and no one is safe from him. Nothing has occurred between him and I. Nothing in relation to honour or any wealth has warranted me speaking.

    I was asked about him and I said he is foolish, why would one travel to Dammaj? To learn this foolishness from him?! He is resembles Shaikh Faalih (ibn Naafi’ Al Harbi) or even worse!

    (So) these were three statements that I uttered and the evidences establish (the truthful nature of) them.

    The Ulamaa of the Sunnah, the heads of the Da’watus Salafiyah are cursed in his gathering in some (recited lines of) poetry, then he praises these individuals who curse?!. So we seek refuge from our states changing (from good to bad) and we ask Allah for security and continued virtuousness (and safety)

    The institute of learning in Dammaaj was set up to teach the Sunnah, not for cursing the scholars of the Sunnah, and the mashaaykh of the Sunnah and speaking ill of them and dispraising them. It has now turned into this! Poetry is recited for the purpose of cursing the the Mashaaykh and the great men of knowledge of the Sunnah?! What then do we say about such a thing?

    If this is not foolishness then I do not know what foolishness is!!

    So we ask Allah for security and continued virtuousness (and safety). And let them make their statements and let them say what they will, this doesn’t harm us in any way, for we are commanded to speak the truth, so let he who wishes to become angry get angry and let he who wishes to be pleased be pleased.

    As I said previously there is no previous dispute between me and Shaikh Yahyaa Al-Hajooree at all, but when he reached this point I stated what I believe and what I hold before Allah, the Majestic , the Most High.

    In any case I will not add to what I have (already) mentioned, for the questions about this issue have become plentiful, thus I am saying this now and I know I am being recorded so let it be recorded, because they came to me in my masjid in Madina (concerning this issue) and I said this statement is true and correct for I am not one to flee.

    As for the Ghuloo (extremism and exaggerations) that occurs concerning him then there is much to narrate concerning that (such that will amaze you, like him being described as:) "Imaam uth-Thaqalain" (the Imaam of mankind and the Jinn!) or ‘If one were to touch and wipe his sandles (in exoneration of him) until such and such a time he would still not have been given his due right!' and other examples of speech that ones ears will detest hearing! (such as) "If he were to be melted then his flesh would become Sunnah!" Or "(His flesh would become) verses from the eternal book!" And other than this!

    The amazing thing is that they say that you people listen to the traitors/slanderers and we have heard this in recordings from them with their voices, and we have read this in some of their published books. In particular, the book that was written by Abdul Hameed Al-Hajoori concerning treachery in the da’wah this poetry is present within it.

    Recently Shaikh Rabee’ has likewise been cursed by way of poetry, and he (Shaikh Yahyaa) says to the one that curses him (after he recites this poem) ‘Baarakallahu Feeka’! These are (just) examples. So what is said about the like of this? If this is not foolishness then I do not know foolishness!

    So we ask Allah for security and continued virtuousness (and safety). And we ourselves do not fall into foolishness, rather we stop at that junction, not out of fear or weakness but because it is not befitting for us to fall into the likes of this foolishness (along with them). I have mentioned this to you only that you may know of some of it. And by Allah, the individual who is intelligent, astute, alert and virtuous will protect his tongue from falling into the likes of this speech, but occasionally one is compelled to have to mention something (from that). Thus I am merely narrating some of it to you that you may know the reason I made those three statements.

    So we ask Allah for security from slipping (ie errors and misguidance) in statement and action, just as we ask him the majestic, the most high for guidance and success. And Allah knows best.

    Shaikh Al-Hajooree and his followers have unwittingly aided ahlul-Bid'ah in their attacks upon ahlus-Sunnah, and more so with their attacks upon the most notable of the scholars. So you find Yahyah al-Hajooree in his ghuloo against those whom he differs with, accusing them of nearly exiting the Religion itself. Is he talking of the Raafidhah? The Qubooriyyah? Maybe the extreme Jahmiyyah? No, rather he is talking about the Scholars of Salafiyyah of Madinah, such as Allaamah Ubaid al-Jaabiree (hafidhahullaah). This is what Yahyah al-Hajoree had to say in a recording of his about Shaikh Ubaid (hafidhahullaah):

    "By Allaah! It is feared for him heresy (zandaqa), it is feared for him that he may exit the Religion if he opposes the Religion and he remains upon this lying - it is not far fetched the statement of Allaah: "So when they turned away, Allaah turned their hearts away, and Allaah guides not the rebellious!"

    "Allaah has disgraced Ubaid just as He disgraced the Shaitaan."

    This was due to the fact that Shaikh Ubaid did not agree with the excesses and ghuloo of Yahyah. Shaikh Ubaid did not attack Dammaaj, he criticised Yahyah al-Hajooree. However, to Shaikh Yahyah, it amounted to the same thing, as he himself said:

    "Warning against me is warning against Dammaaj!"

    Shaikh Ubaid is not the only one who believes that Yahyah al-Hajooree has gone to extremes and has ghuloo - Shaikh Rabee' has also stated that he has ghuloo and Haddaadiyah. Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee stated (as in the post above): "That he resembles Faalih al-Harbee or even worse!"

    Then there are his errors and ignorance in his aqeedah, his manhaj, and his understanding. We will mention some of those in upcoming posts, inshaa'Allaah. He is a man who possesses some knowledge, which is not denied - but his self-amazement has led to self-isolation and caused him to err severely, may Allaah guide him and keep us safe!

    In a tape entitled "أسئلة شباب مسجد الاستقامة في الحديدة" dated the evening of Tuesday, 11th Rabee al-Awwal 1432 (16th February 2011) Yahyah al-Hajooree does not hide his attacks upon Shaikh Rabee' (hafidhahullaah), one can enumerate over ten attacks upon the Shaikh in this one gathering! From them:

    - That Shaikh Rabee' has racial/tribal prejudice and that he divides the Salafis in Yemen into Southerners and Northerners.
    - He describes Shaikh Rabee' as being antagonistic towards Ahlul-Haqq and biased in favour of Ahlil-Baatil and that he encourages the people of falsehood in their da'wah.
    - Whoever visits him from Dammaaj, he pounces upon them with the pouncing of a lion! He quakes over them, and his face alters, and his lips tremble due to his extreme rage!!
    - That Shaikh Rabee' is a schemer and plotter.
    - That Shaikh Rabee' quarrels and argues with the people so that they may agree with what he is upon in his commendations and recommendation of the Markaz of al-Fayoosh (Yemen) or otherwise he gets angry with them.
    - That Shaikh Rabee' intends by way of these gatherings, him and Shaikh Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhaab al-Wasaabee, to demonstrate that most of the people are with them.
    So Yahyah al-Hajooree not satisfied with these wicked lines of poetry regarding Shaikh Rabee' which he praised and called "naseehah" though we still wait to hear where is the "naseehah" in claiming that Shaikh Rabee' plots and schemes? And where is the "naseehah" in claiming that Shaikh Rabee' is a "crow of dissension"? And where is the "naseehah" in claiming with respect to the efforts of Shaikh Rabee that "his flowers have withered away, on the brink of rot"? And that he is "deceived by numbers"? Is this is advice, O reader, to an Imaam of the Sunnah? So, not satisfied with this alone, Yahyah al-Hajooree states in his own voice recording that there are revolutions taking place against the Govermenment and against Dammaaj! And that these revolutions are from the actions of the Freemasons! And that the one (i.e. Shaikh Rabee') who accuses him of Haddaadiyah has embarked upon the path of the Freemasons and of "The Joint Meeting Parties" (The 'JMP', a political organisation in Yemen that gathers together the opposition parties). All this is recorded, with the voice of Yahyah al-Hajooree in the tape entitled, الثوار على الدولة والثوار على مركز دار الحديث بدماج ("Uprising against the Government and against the Markaz Daar al-Hadeeth in Dammaaj")!

    And this unbefitting speech against Shaikh Rabee' does not harm him, O respected reader. Shaikh Rabee' remains (may Allaah preserve him) just as the Allaamah Ibn Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah) stated:

    "Shaikh Rabee' is from the Ulamaa of the Sunnah, and from the people of goodness. His aqidah is sound and his manhaj is strong and sound. However, when he began to speak about some of the symbolic figureheads of some of the people, from amongst the latecomers they began to tarnish him with these faults. Do you know [this] now!"
    And these attacks used to take place in the time of Shaikh Ibn Uthaimeen also, and this is what he (rahimahullaah) had to say in response:

    "The visit of our brother, Shaikh Rabee bin Haadee to this region, our city, Unaizah, no doubt will have a good effect and it will also become clear to many of the people what used to be hidden from them due to the scare-mongering and rumour-mongering and also letting loose the tongues [of discord]…"
    And when they asked about Shaikh Rabee' and his writings to Shaikh Ibn Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah), this was the response of this noble Imaam of the Sunnah:

    "It is apparently clear that this question is not in need of my answer. And just as Imaam Ahmad was asked about Ishaaq bin Raahawaih - rahimahumullaah - and he replied, "Someone like me is asked about Ishaaq! Rather, Ishaaq is to be asked about me." And I spoke at the beginning of my speech about that which I know about Shaikh Rabee', may Allaah grant him success, and what I mentioned has never ceased to be what I hold about him in my soul, up until this time. And his arrival here and his words that have reached me, then no doubt, they are such that they will increase a person in his love for him and in his supplication for him."
    Allaahu akbar! So compare this to the "naseehah" of Yahyah al-Hajooree and then let Yahyah and his followers claim that they were merely advising! By Allaah, the speech of Yahyah is belittlement of Shaikh Rabee'. Read again, O Salafi brother and sister, the speech of Shaikh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) above that speaks of how ahlus-Sunnah deal with ahlulus-Sunnah when they differ - more so when a younger student speaks to an elder scholar of the Ummah! Would this kind of poetry and belittlement be tolerated against Shaikh Ibn Baaz, Shaikh Ibn Uthaimeen or Shaikh al-Albaanee?! Yet we are asked to accept it as a "naseehah" from the "Trustworthy Advisor" Yahyah al-Hajooree! By Allaah, the one who created all that exists, Shaikh Muqbil bin Haadee (rahimahullaah) did not behave like this towards the great Scholars, rather he refuted those who spoke ill of Shaikh Rabee (hafidhahullaah).

    Shaikh Rabee' is the most aware of the traits of the Haddaadiyyah, since he is the one who exposed Mahmood Haddaad and refuted him and warned the Ummah from his evil and his misguidance. The first of the traits and distinguishing signs of the Haddaadiyyah which Shaikh Rabee' bin Haadee (hafidhahullaah) mentions, and that is their most apparent trait:

    "Their hatred for the 'Ulamah of the Salafi Manhaj of this time, and their belittlement and humiliation of them, and their accusing them of ignorance and misguidance and inventing lies against them, and especially against the scholars of Madeenah…"

    Ponder, O reader, over these words of Shaikh Rabee' bin Haadee (hafidhahullaah) and ask yourself who has gathered against the ulamah and accused them of ignorance and misguidance and bid'ah? Is it not Yahyah al-Hajooree who has accused the Scholars of Yemen and then moreover the Scholars of Madinah of misguidance and attacked and cursed them and shown his hatred towards them? The likes of Shaikh Ubaid, Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee, Shaikh Rabee' and Shaikh al-Bukhaaree and others?

    Side note: In response to the claim that these articles are posted under unknown persons. This claim is deceptive and deceitful! It is not al-Maktabah as-Salafiyyah that is unknown! It is known to Shaikh Yahyah al-Hajooree, when he visited the UK and he stayed with us for a month! He used to refer the people to the likes of Shaikh Rabee' and Shaikh Muqbil and others from the ulamah in those times. He wrote in praise of the Maktabah and stated in audio recordings that they from the "thiqaat", the "trustworthy ones". And his followers know the Maktabah and those responsible for it, and they used to speak well of them - and more to the point Shaikh Muqbil (hafidhahullaah) spoke about the Maktabah and its efforts, it was known to him, and this was even before Yayhah's visit to the UK. So how has al-Maktabah as-Salafiyyah now become 'unknown'? Indeed even when they spoke ill of the Maktabah and wrote pages of refutations against them, were they refuting unknown persons? This is a deceptive smoke screen that is being raised so that the sincere Salafi is drawn into sideline arguments. Rather it is the blind-followers of Yahyah in the West that are unknown, and that is even if they sign these attacks with their own real names! And that is because they are unknown to the ulamah and unknown to the students of knowledge and the people of virtue, their trustworthiness is not established, and are therefore not to be accepted as being trustworthy, as is well known in the sciences of hadeeth. Rather, their attacks upon the people of virtue from the ulamah shows they are not trustworthy at all, rather they are abandoned due to their enmity against the Scholars of hadeeth and Salafiyyah.

    "STATEMENTS OF THE SCHOLARS ON SHAIKH YAHYA AL-HAJOORI, HIS FOLLOWERS AND THEIR FITNAH"
    An explanation of the Fitna in Yemen, clarified with the words of The Scholars of Ahl Al-Sunnah Wal-Jama’ah


    Introduction:

    After almost five years of excessive tabdee’, slander and numerous lies against the scholars of Ahl Al-Sunnah Wal-Jama’a, the fitna in Yemen has finally come to an end. Shaikh Rabee’, Shaikh Obayd, Shaikh Al-Wasaabi, Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Haadi, Shaikh Al-Bukhaari, Shaikh Abdur-Rahman Al-Adani and others have clearly spoken out against the misguidance, insolence and deceit of Shaikh Yahya Ibn Ali Al-Hajoori and his followers.

    Today, the people of knowledge have warned against this man and declared him to be a Haddaadi, a profuse liar and have said he is worse than Faaleh Al-Harbee. But until this very day, their statements haven't been translated into English and this is why many Salafees in the West are still confused about what's going on in Yemen. In fact, many still don’t have a clear picture and/or a correct understanding of the reality and true danger of Shaikh Yahya Al-Hajoori and his followers. Indeed, their fitna has spread all over the world and has divided the Salafees in numerous countries like the UK, the US, France, Holland, Belgium, Russia, Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Saudi, Indonesia, the Maldives, etc.

    After having consulted several of the scholars of Medina, we were granted permission to clarify the fitna of Shaikh Yahya Al-Hajoori and to translate the statements of the scholars that have been made during the past five years…

    Shaikh Rabee’: “Yahya Al-Hajoori is an insolent man and a Haddaadi”

    Shaykh Ubayd: “As for the brother Yahya, he is vulgar and sharp-tongued. He doesn't consider the sanctity of anyone, if you were to be friends with him for ten years he could easily destroy this friendship in a split second. He does not build his affairs upon kindness. Even if he may have knowledge, he does not have forbearance or wisdom…”

    “…It is clear that Shaikh Yahya and many others are unaware of the definition of hizbiya. If you have a store next to the masjid for sustaining it, they would say this is hizbiya!!! What I mean, barakallahu fika, is that the true meaning of Hizbiya is not clear to them…”

    “He does not speak in the same manner as the Uleema, he speaks like the shameless and the vulgar.”

    “He has indecent vocabulary, he utters obscene words and he has some astonishing errors in the (Islamic) belief. Amongst those errors, is his claim that the companions were the first who were affected with the ambiguity of Irja. This is an insult towards the companions of the Prophet. Had he (i.e. Shaikh Yahya) been from people of knowledge, he wouldn't have pronounced such a statement.”


    Shaikh Al-Wasaabi: “Truly, he (i.e. Shaikh Yahya) has lied and his lies have reached the horizons (i.e. his lies have been well spread and circulated)”


    Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari: “I swear by Allah that the words of Yahya Al-Hajoori on Shaikh Obayd and on the other scholars of Ahl Al-Sunnah belong to the most slanderous and perverted lies that exist and it is only a deviant who can agree to such kinds of statements.”


    Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Haadi : “He is shameless. Why would you go to Dammaaj? To learn shamelessness from him!!!! He's like Faalih or worse.”

    Shaikh Abdur-Rahman Al-Adani: “it is well known from the character of Al-Hajoori that he is very shameless in negating and dismissing what he has said (i.e. in the past) and he has even done this while being witnessed by noble students of knowledge or honourable Mashaayikh as long as there is no recording or written proof of it.”

    Shaikh Najmi, rahimahullah: “: May Allah have mercy upon him, his(Shaikh Salih aal-Shaikh’s) methodology is Ikhwaani!!! He has lied, he has lied, he has lied.”

    Imaam Ahmad (d.241H) (rahimahullah) said:

    All Praise is for Allaah Who, in every age and interval between the Prophets, raises up a group from the People of Knowledge who call the misguided to guidance and patiently bear ill-treatment and harm. With the Book of Allaah they give life to the dead, and by Allaah's light they give sight to the blind. How many a person killed by Iblees have they revived. How many people astray and wandering have they guided. How beautiful their effect has been upon the people, and how vile people have been towards them. They repel from the Book of Allaah the alterations of those going beyond bounds, the false claims of the liars and the false interpretations of the ignorant ones-those who uphold the banner of innovation and let loose the trials and discords. Who differ about the Book, oppose the Book and agree to oppose the Book. Those who speak about Allaah and His Book without knowledge, argue about what is ambiguous in the Book and deceive the ignorant with such ambiguities. We seek refuge in Allaah from the trials of the misguided ones.

    Imaam Aboo Uthmaan as-Saaboonee (d.449H) (rahimahullah) said:

    And one of the distinguishing signs of Ahlus-Sunnah is their love for the Imaams of the Sunnah, its Scholars, its helpers, and its close allies, and their hatred for the leaders of innovation who call to the Hell-Fire and who direct their associates and companions to the home of torment destruction. Allaah, the Sublime, has adorned the hearts of Ahlus-Sunnah, and the light of their hearts with love for the Scholars of the Sunnah, as a bounty from Him, Whose Magnificence is perfect and Sublime.

    The Characteristics of the new hadaaddiyah By Shaikh Rabee ibn Haadi Al Madhkhali - Hafidhahullah


    The following is a summary of a small clarification from the noble sheikh Rabee ibn Haadi concerning the characteristics of the Hadaadiyah

    This was a piece that was written by Sheikh Rabee during the fitna of Abul Hasan Al Ma’ribee when Abul Hasan began to accuse those who followed the position of the scholars against him of being Hadaadis and of being extreme. The sheikh wrote this to clarify the characteristics of the Hadaadiyah (the followers of an individual known as Mahmood Hadaad who innovated these principles and used them against the people of Sunnah) and as advice to the people of Sunnah in Yemen at the time, though it is advice to all people generally

    I translate this on the basis of questions that have been raised in the recent statements of our scholars concerning the extreme positions of Shaikh Yahya - May Allah rectify him - concerning the scholars of the sunnah in our time and the students of knowledge who disagree with his erroneous positions. These questions revolve around what Hadaddiyah is in many instances and why sheikh Yahya is being accused of this by our scholars. The one who reads the previous post and is acquainted with his numerous past statements will see clearly why our scholars declare him this

    Though he and many of his students and those affected by him may not have fallen into all of these characteristics, they have fallen into many and have agreed with them in mannerism and principle

    Hoping that this will shine some more light on the issue, and that those who have fallen into it may take account of themselves before they are taken to account, and that it may prevent individuals from being ‘blinded by love’ and thus fall into this defamation of those who are at the head of the saved sect, the scholars of Ahlus Sunnati wal Jamaa’ah

    Wa Billahit Tawfeeq

    Shaikh Rabee’ ibn Haadi Al Madkhali states:

    Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem

    All praise is due to All and may peace and blessing be upon the messenger of Allah and upon his household and his companions and those who follow his guidance.

    Due to that which is taking place concerning the fitna in Yemen between the youth in Yemen, and the fact that its tail has now become long and its branches many, and has now spread to other lands. Many of the people have sought a clarification of the haq and a clarification of who is right from wrong. And from the causes of this fitan is that some of the students of knowledge have accused others of being upon the Hadaadi methodology, thus I felt compelled to clarify this methodology that perhaps this will clarify to many of the seekers of truth how to differentiate between the methodology of Ahlus Sunnah and the methodology of the Hadaadiyah

    Also that perchance this may aid to far extend in finishing this fitna alongside our promise to continue clarifying the other issues in response to this pressing request and aiding towards finishing this trial

    The Methodology of Al Hadaadiyah

    1. Their hatred for the present day Ulamaa of the Salafi methodology, belittling them, declaring them ignorant, misguided and lying upon them and in particular the people (scholars) of Madina. They then went past that to Ibn Taimiya and Ibnil Qayyim and Ibn abil ‘Izz the explainer of Al Aqeedah At Tahaawiyah. They constantly speak about them with a view to destroying their station and rejecting their statements.

    2. Them making tabdee’ (i.e. declaring a person an innovator) of anyone who falls into a bid’ah thus ibn Hajr to them is worse and more dangerous than Sayyid Qutb.

    3. Them declaring an innovator anyone who does not declare someone who has fallen into an innovation an innovator, and showing enmity towards him and warring against him. It is not sufficient with them to say, such and such a person has traits of ash’ariyah for example or he is ash’aree rather it is a must that one says: ‘He is an Innovator! And if not then (they will) war (against him) and boycott (him) and declare him an innovator.

    4. They hold it to be haram to make tarahum (i.e. to say ‘May Allah show him mercy’) upon the people of innovation absolutely, making no difference between the Raafidhi, the Qadari and the Jahmee (all groups that are outside of the fold of islam) and between the Aalim who has fallen into Bid’ah

    5. Them declaring as an innovator the one who make tarahum upon the likes of Abu Hanifa, As Shoukaani, Ibnil Jawzi (other than ibnil Qayyim Al Jawziyah), Ibn Hajr and An Nawawi (all of whom fell into mistakes in issues of Aqeedah)

    6. Their staunch animosity for the salafees regardless of the efforts they put forward in calling to salafiyah and defending it. And regardless of their striving to fight against bid’ah, hizbiyah (partisanship) and various forms of misguidance. They concentrate upon the scholars of Madina in this and Shaikh Al Albaani – May Allah have mercy upon him – because he was from the major scholars of the Salafi Manhaj. That is that he was from the strongest of them in destroying the Hizbiyeen and the people of Innovation and blind following…

    7. Them having Ghuloo (extremism) with Al Hadaad (ie Mahmood their shaikh) and them claiming that he has excelled in knowledge in order to progress from that to disparaging and bringing down the station of the major scholars and the (true) Salafi methodology and raising their shaikh to the undisputed level of Imaamah (ie declaring him an imam) as some of them who have been affected with the madness of magnifying the station and importance of (their scholars) have done. So they say about such and such and such and such a person from those who they see have reached a high level in knowledge that it is upon them to fall upon their knees in front of Abu Abdillah and Umm Abdillah (i.e. Hadaad and his wife)

    8. They show impudent, sharp, loose and vicious tongues towards the ulamaa of Salafeeyah in Madina and elsewhere and they accusing them of Lying. “This one is a liar! That one is a liar!” Then when the falsehood of Hadaad was made clear with proofs and evidences Allah uncovered the reality and that which they were upon from evil, they only increased clinging and attaching themselves to Hadaad and having Ghuloo (extremism) for him.

    9. They were well known for invoking curses upon, being harsh and course and (even) threatening and using scare tactics to the extent that they used to threaten that they would physically attack the salafees, in fact they actually attacked certain salafees.

    10. Invoking the curse of Allah upon specific individuals, to the extent that some of them invoked curses upon Abu Haneefah and some made takfeer of him (declared him a disbeliever!) Al Hadaad would approach a correct statement concerning an issue or an erroneous one and say “This is heresy (Zandaqah)” which would insinuate that this individual (i.e. Hadaad) was an undercover Takfeeri

    11. (Manifestations of) pride and arrogance which both lead them to reject the truth, just like others from the extreme people of innovation. Thus everything that was presented by the Scholars of Madina in the clarification of the deviation of Al Hadaad from the (true) methodology of Salafiyah they rejected it, thus due to these actions of theirs, they are from the worst of the Islamic sects, and the worst of them in character and partisanship

    12. They would cling on to Imaam Ahmad the most (due to his well-known stance towards the people of innovation) but when it was explained to them how the position of Al Hadaad opposed that of Imam Ahmad they would falsely accuse those who attributed those other (clear and clarifying) statements to Imaam Ahmad (of lying or fabricating upon the Imaam). Then Hadaad said “If that is authentically attributed to Imaam Ahmad then we do not blindly follow him! (thus) they had no (real) love for the haq rather they only wanted fitna and to split the salafees.

    Alongside this obstinance, the salafees would see (from them) their (good) relations with the hizbiyoon (people of partisanship) and their relations with evil doers while they (at the same time) would be fighting against the salafees. Harbouring against them hatred, malice and resentment and perhaps that which the hid (from Feelings) was (far) more. And Allah (truly) knows best about what they harboured and planned…

    A Reminder that Errors in Manhaj Occur Due to Underlying Errors in 'Aqeedah

    Once again, the scholars are correct. May Allaah have mercy on those righteous (Salafee) scholars who have died, and protect the Deen of and support those righteous (Salafee) scholars who are living.

    Shaikh al-'Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah) said: And Islaam is composed of these two: correctness in belief and soundness in manhaj (methodology), and its uprightness. One of them does not separate from the other. Thus, whoever's manhaj is corrupt, then have trust that it springs from corruption in his aqidah. So when the aqidah is upright upon the correct manner, then the manhaj will also be upright.


    Also, this is another reminder from the 'ulemma that they don't "eliminate" anyone; rather it is the person himself who chooses to leave the Sunnah for bid'ah, and thus the 'ulemma refute him on account of that for the protection of the Ummah.

    Question: Some Hizbiyoon say that [the] Salafiyoon eliminate a caller every day. How do you refute this claim?
    Shaikh Ahmad an-Najmee (rahimahullaah) answered: They [the Salafiyoon] don't eliminate anybody. It's the person himself who eliminates himself when he chooses the innovations and to follow the innovators. Yes!
    And for this tremendous refutation with its overwhelming proofs, may Allaah reward our scholars - such as Shaikh Rabee', Shaikh 'Ubayd, Shaikh Al-Wasaabi, Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Haadi, Shaikh Al-Bukhaari, and Shaikh 'Abdur-Rahman Al-Adani - for their baseerah and naseeha and direction and patience, and may Allaah reward their students. May Allaah make them firm like mountains for the ones who convey the truth will be slandered and attacked, even though they come with proofs.

    This is from the way of the people of falsehood and deceit, just as the Raafidah and Khawaarij who attack and slander (and even make takfeer of) the companions (radiallaahu 'anhum), and the Soofees who attack scholars such as Ibnu Taymeeyah and Muhammad ibn 'Abdul-Wahhab for simply stating what is in the Qur`an and Sunnah.

    A Zindeeq, whose neck was about to be put to the sword, admitted: "For indeed, we understood that if we were able to get rid of the carriers of the message, then how easy would it be for us to get rid of the message itself."

    Due to Yahya al-Hajoori (may Allaah rectify him) and his students misusing the words "hizbeeyah" and "hizbee" and labeling it upon those who are free from it, it might be appropriate to restate the definition, which many have learned from the Sharh of Sharh-us-Sunnah and other beneficial books:

    Hizbeeyah is: loyalty or allegiance to an individual or group (who is, or that is) in opposition to the Qur`an and Sunnah, and having al-walaa` wal-baraa` for them.

    So if an individual is in opposition to the Qur`an and Sunnah, yet someone remains loyal to that individual, and loves and hates based on whatever that individual has said, then this would be hizbeeyah.

    As is clear from the abundant proofs, the scholars have refuted Hajoori for his errors in 'aqeedah, and errors in manhaj, such as his attack on the Salafee scholars.

    Student Abu Khadeejah relayed that Imam Abu Uthman Isma'eel as-Sabooni (rahimahullaah Ta'ala) said in his excellent work 'Aqeedatus-Salaf Ashabul-Hadeeth:

    From one of those distinguishing signs of the people of the Sunnah is their love for the Imams of the Sunnah, and the scholars, and the aiding of them (to aid them and support them) and being connected to them, and being their friends and their allies, and their hatred for the people of bid'ah, those who call to the hellfire.


    Abu Khadeejah also stated this book has been explained by al-'Allaamah Shaikh Rabee bin Hadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah), and the sharh of this book is available - wa lillaah il Hamd - in the Arabic language.
    Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

    Rectification of a mistake


    We would like to bring to the brothers' attention the fact that we have made a mistake in our document. We were told that Shaikh Muhammad al-Imaam was about 20 years older than Shaikh Yahya. This information was conveyed to us by one of his close students but after checking we found out that this was not correct. However Shaikh al-Imaam is older than Shaikh Yahya and his center was already opened before Shaikh Yahya had even started studying in Dammaaj with Shaikh Muqbil. But this does nothing to the point that we are mentioning which is that Shaikh al-Imaam as well as Shaikh al-Wasaabi are not the peers of Shaikh Yahya rather they are his seniors and Shaikh al-Wasaabi is one of Shaikh Yahya's early teachers. The honest and sound-minded person can only be shocked how somebody linked to Sunnah can have such behavior in general, and towards his elders in particular, and leave alone his very teacher who taught him the religion of Allah.

    We have also added another audio file of Shaikh al-Fawzaan on the claim that the people of the Sunnah are the closest to the truth and we have corrected some spelling mistakes.

    there was a talk given by sheikh mohammad al imam and sheikh abdul-azeez alBur'ee today in madinah saudi arabia 25/10/2011, where sheikh Abdul-Azeez today gave us a very powerful statement of how the salafi is. he said a salafi is like a mountain it doesn't matter what hits it, whether its a wind a storm a earthquake and so forth it is firm in the ground. i.e all the trials, tribulations and fitn that hit the dawah its still the same mountain it was from the beginning. and at times of fitn we stick to big scholars that are known for their salafiyyah.
