    Eed in Slough, Zakaatul-Fitr & Yearly Zakaah Reminder

    Asalaamu alaykum brothers and sisters

    Salaatul Eed
    Salaatul Eed will be prayed in Chalvey playcentre park (SL1 2SR) at 8am insha Allah (Eed day to be announced next week).
    Alhamdolillah, this year we have organised some fun activities for your children and refreshments for all (FREE) -please see the attached poster.

    Zakaatul - Fitr
    We are still collecting Zakaatul Fitr on your behalf until Sunday 4th August/26th Ramadhaan - £2.00 per person

    Yearly Zakaah
    We also collect your yearly Zakaah (2.5% of your surplus wealth) and distribute it to Gambia Orphanage, Pakistan Orphanage, poor in Madinah and others around the world who are due Zakaah. So you can give us your Zakaah if you want us to give it to these specific places.

    Fidya
    For those brothers and sisters who are not able to fast due to illness (long-term or pregnancy), then we are also able to distribute your fidya (which is feeding a poor person a meal a day). - £2.50 per fasting day (e.g. £2,50 x 30 days= £75.00)

    Narrated Abu Ayub: A man said to the Prophet "Tell me of such a deed as will make me enter Paradise ." The people said, "What is the matter with him? What is the matter with him?" The Prophet said, "He has something to ask. (What he needs greatly) The Prophet said: (In order to enter Paradise ) you should worship Allah and do not ascribe any partners to Him, offer prayer perfectly, pay the zakat and keep good relations with your kith and kin." (Bukhari No. 1317)
