A [Statement of] Clarification from the Administration of Masjid al-Rahmah

In the name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, Ever-Merciful [to His Believing Slaves]

All praise is due to Allaah and may salaat and salaam be upon the Messenger of Allaah, his family and all the companions, to proceed:

After we heard advices from the two esteemed Shaykhs, the esteemed Shaykh, the Doctor and 'Allaamah, Muhammad bin Haadee al-Madkhalee and the Shaykh and Doctor, Abdullaah Abd al-Raheem al-Bukharee, may Allaah preserve them both, then the administration of Masjid al-Rahmah wishes to rectify all the mistakes which occurred from them and all praise is due to Allaah, for it is, as has been said, "Returning to the truth is a virtue and wallowing in falsehood is a vice" and Allaah [is one] who forgives all.

Firstly: That we, the administration of Masjid al-Rahmah erred in removing the name of the esteemed Shaykh, the Doctor, the Allaamah, the Muhaddith, the Mujaahid, Rabee' bin Haadee al-Madkhali from the knowledge-based seminar in July 2011 (CE), putting instead the name of a man called Tahir Wyatt in place of the esteemed Shaykh, Rabee'al-Madkhalee. We ask Allaah to forgive us and we seek excuse from Shaykh Rabee for indeed he is from the well-known mashaayikh and respected by the lofty scholars such as Shaykh Abd al-Azeez bin Baaz, Shaykh al-Albaanee, Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-Uthaymeen, Shaykh Ahmad bin Yahyaa al-Najmee, Shaykh Muqbil bin Haadee al-Waadi'ee, Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan, Shaykh Saalih al-Luhaydaan and other than them, may Allaah have mercy on those who have passed from them and may He preserve those who are alive from amongst them.

Secondly: We will not continue cooperation or have any dealings with the one named "Tahir Wyatt" because he refused to clarify his position with respect to Abu al-Hasan al-Ma'ribee and Alee Hasan al-Halabee and those who are like them.

Thirdly: We do not have any connection with the one called "Shadeed Muhammad", and we are with the Scholars who clarified his errors. We do not have any connection with the one named "Zaahid Rasheed" who is the owner [administrator] of the AlBaseerah website [based in the US].

Fourthly: That Muhammad Muneer, one of the speakers in that seminar dated July 2011 (CE) erred and opposed the truth when he said, "When was it from the way of the Ulamaa and the way of the Salaf to sit in front of the layman and talk about Jarh Wa Ta'deel? Bring me one example..." Rather, that which is correct and truth is that the people of deviant positions (statements) are to be made clear to the common-folk and the ignorant and they are to be warned against so that no one falls into them (the deviations), just as Imaam Ahmad (rahimahullaah) said, "If I remain silent and you remain silent, then who will explain to the people truth from falsehood?"

Fifthly: We make it clear that the statement that was spread which is [in meaning] "That some of the scholars well-known for defending the Sunnah and calling to it have some harshness with them" - that revilement of those scholars was intended by this speech. [In reality], if any positions were taken by them [those scholars] that required harshness, then there is no blame upon them, since harshness [utilized] in its correct place is praiseworthy and it is from wisdom in calling to Allaah.

Sixthly: We accept and respect the advice of the Scholars regarding changing the members of the shooraa (consultative body) present with us. And we will cooperate with some of the students of knowledge who are commended by the Mashaayikh.

Seventhly: We wish to adhere to traversing upon the Qur'an and the Sunnah upon the understanding of the noble Companions, may Allaah's pleasure be upon them all, whilst having safety in creed and clarity in manhaj, and that we do not soften our religion with corrupt, invented principles such as those principles of Abu al-Hasan al-Ma'ribee al-Misree and the principles of Alee Hasan al-Halabee, such as the principle, "It is not binding upon me [to accept the evidence-based disparagments of the scholars]" and the principle, "There must be consensus of the people of knowledge regarding the tabdee' of such and such person (before I accept it)" and so on.

Eighth: We free ourselves from the misguided erroneous statement, "We do not make our differing regarding others besides us as a cause of differing in that which is between us" which was said by Ali Hasan al-Halabi and the meaning of which [was expressed] by Abu Laylaa [khateeb], that "Our differing regarding an individual does not mean that we differn in what is between us." We also free ourselves from the statement that "the one who said Masjid Rahmah's reputation has been defamed (on account of the observations, criticisms that were directed to them) that his speech is like the speech by which Aa'ishah (radiallaahu anhaa) was slandered with (meaning, in the incident of al-Ifk). [Likewise, we free ourselves from the saying] (whose meaning is) that, "the Sahaabah were like a gang in their collection of zakaat."

Ninth: We merge (in cooperation) with our Salafi brothers in America and our Salafi brothers from Maktabah Salafiyyah in Britan and others from the students of knowledge, just as the Mashaayikh advised us, may Allaah preserve them and watch over them. And we actualize what was said by the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), "The Believers are like a single body. If there is a complaint (of pain) from one its limbs, the entire body attends to it with wakefulness and fever" (Agreed upon). And from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (radiallaahu anhu) who said: The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said, "The believer to the believer is like a building, parts of it giving strength of support to the other", and he interlocked between the fingers of each hand. (Agreed upon).

May the salaat and salaam be upon [His Messenger], his family and his companions, and Allaah is behind the intent.

This recantation was read to the esteemed Shaykh, the Allaamah, Shaykh Rabee bin Haadee al-Madkhalee, may Allaah preserve him, with his agreement on the night of Jumu'ah corresponding to 7/5/1433H (30/3/2012CE)[/SIZE]

A Reminder from Shaykh Muhammad bin Haadee and Reminder About the Madeenah.Com Network

A Reminder from Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee:

The advice below of Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee (hafidhahullaah) dates back nearly two years!

"So if they [Madeenah.Com and associates] do not return (to what is correct) and do not repent, then they are not to be put in front of the people, nor are they to be co-operated with, rather they are to be warned against - I say, in addition to that, they are warned against so that the people can beware of them, because if the people do not beware of them, they will fall into their snare, and go astray as a result of them."

    Dated Sunday 16/J2/1431H (5th May 2010):
Many of the individuals mentioned in the bayaan of Masjid Rahmah above are from this organisation that Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee cautioned against nearly two years ago, and continues to warn from. They have not repented, rather have only increased in their activities.

There is no harm in saying clearly as Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee said (in his advice recent advice to the brothers from Masjid al-Rahmah, a few days ago):

"And the actions show the truthfulness of one's speech or the actions show the lie of one's speech. So whoever made a claim, then the actions testify to either it's truthfulness or falsehood."
May Allaah reward those who had the courage and bravery to realise their faults and return to the truth from the admin of Masjid Rahmah. May Allaah, the Blessed and Most High, give our brothers the strength to remain steadfast upon Salafiyyah, seeking nothing other than the Face of Allaah. May Allaah, the Magnificent and Most High, protect them from those who wish them harm and harm to the da'wah - or those who wish to sow doubts in their hearts regarding our noble Scholars and their advices.

We truly believe that the end result of this, if our brothers remain steadfast, will be nothing but goodness and khair for the da'wah on the East Coast and in the USA. Clarity in the 'aqeedah and manhaj is the most distinguishing of signs of our Da'wah. Those who wish for it's watering down so that one cannot distinguish between a Salafi and an Ikhwaanee or a hizbee - they are people with wicked designs upon this noble Da'wah. They desire it's destruction and annihilation.

So this bayaan is a victory for Ahlus-Sunnah! It informs all of us that we are free from al-Ma'rabee and al-Halabee and their innovated principles that dilute the Salafi Manhaj, so much so that it becomes indistinguishable from the sects of bid'ah. That is the path of Shadeed Muhammad and his cohorts. Their path that seeks to nullify the mighty principle of al-walaa and al-baraa (allegiance and enmity) for the sake of Allaah, in defense of the usool of Salafiyyah.

This bayaan (and the speech of Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee that preceded it) makes clear what our scholars are upon and have been upon for decades - it is a refutation and rebuttal of those who turned their backs on the Manhaj of the Salaf in how they dealt with the callers to innovation - a just reply to those who say:

"We are not living in the times of Ahmad and al-Barbahaaree so do not try and be like them, don't even try and behave like them! Rather true Salafiyyah is a 'Salafiyyah orientated for our times'!"
Allaah's refuge is sought from such false statements that call the Ummah to oppose the way of the Salaf. By Allaah! We will not abandon the Path of the Salaf in favour of the paths of modernity in orientation.

And then these people have the "audacity" to call it Salafiyyah! Why else do they shower exaggerated praises on the hizbees and innovators, advertise their events (indeed participate on their platforms) - and then reserve their venom for the Salafees by warning against them and attacking them.

When asked to explain their actions, the answer: "It is not binding upon me to accept the [knowledge-based] positions of the scholars [such as Shaikh Rabee']!" and, "Where is the consensus of the people of knowledge regarding the warning against so-and-so! The scholars differ!" These people are not interested in proofs and evidences of the scholars, rather they follow desires. So these individuals who are so hesitant and cautious about warning against the innovators believe it to be binding upon them to warn against the Salafis and call people to a da'wah which waters down the principles of Salafiyyah and accommodates the innovators and hizbees. Look, for example, at their promotion of Luton and Brixton [1] and events at Green Lane! Indeed you find them putting up a defense for the liar Suhaib Hasan and Green Lane Mosque- joining with them, aiding them and showing allegiance to them and to Ihyaa Turaath; they share platforms with Abu Usaamah, Murtaza Khan, Waseem Kempsen and Suhaib Hasan without a care in the world - but the Salafis get vilified and refuted. Actions show the truthfulness of a claim - and their actions speak volumes!

These are hard cold facts. Like it whoever likes it, hate it whoever hates it. So let us return to the statement of Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee:

"So if they [Madeenah.Com and associates] do not return (to what is correct) and do not repent, then they are not to be put in front of the people, nor are they to be co-operated with, rather they are to be warned against - I say, in addition to that, they are warned against so that the people can beware of them, because if the people do not beware of them, they will fall into their snare, and go astray as a result of them."
And all goodness lies in the Path of the Salaf!

All praise is due to Allaah, Lord of the worlds, and may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon the Messenger, his family, his Companions and those who follow him precisely till the Hour is established.

[1] Brixton and Luton: "The end result of that which occurred with those of Brixton Masjid in London! That they ended up with Abul-Hasan, Ali Hasan al-Halabi and those types of people, that which occurred with Abdul-Haqq Baker and whoever was with him such as Abu Haajir and others. They came to me here many times, and I would advise them. And what became apparent is that they are not truthful (laysoo saadiqeen)! These people from Brixton Masjid would sit with me and listen and say "yes" and then go and do the opposite! But this in reality did not harm except themselves!" (Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee). Also see the radd of Shaikh Rabee' on Abul-Hasan and Ali Hasan al-Halabi, wherein he stated that Brixton Mosque are upon the Manhaj of Abul-Hasan and Ali Hasan. Luton (Masjid Ghurabah) are even worse in their open and apparent support of these people and add to that their love of al-Maghraawee. Concerning Abdul-Haqq and Brixton Mosque, Shaikh Rabee stated: "It appears that Abdul-Haqq [Baker] and those with him [Brixton Mosque] are upon the methodology of Abul-Hasan and his false principles… And that which is apparent is that after this "rectification" [incited by al-Ma'rabee], Abdul-Haqq and those with him have not increased in anything except tribulation upon tribulation."

All praise is due to Allaah, the brothers from Masjid Rahmah came on 'Umrah and wanted to sit with some of the scholars to free themselves from errors occurred. There were two former members of the administration and two current members present. I had no intention to get involved in this affair with Masjid Rahmah but they insisted. I was already asked to attend the two sittings with Masjid Rahmah and the Sheikhs Muhammad bin Haadi and Abdullah Al-Bukhaari but I had no need to be involved and so I remained away from it.

After these sittings, the brothers from Masjid Rahmah called me and insisted I help them in rectifying matters and i sat with the members present and they wanted to choose Shura members from within their community. They then sent me the initial Bayaan by email (as sheikh Muhamnad bin Haadi advised they take their errors back) and the final draft was finalized by Sheikh Rabee' in his presence and in the presence of the brothers from Masjid Rahmah who were all in agreement.

There were two former members of the Masjid Shura and two current members present. Of the three other members who were in the USA, one agreed over the phone to have the bayaan signed on his behalf as the members mentioned. According to the brothers in attendance, one of the other two members said he will step down. Sheikh Rabee' advised that those who agreed with the bayaan should sign it and those that didn't their situation will become clear as to why they wouldn't sign. Therefore, the brothers that agreed were two former members and three of the current members of five. They were going to speak to the other two members in more detail when they returned. Only recification was sought and alhamdulillaah i pray they resolve the issues with the advice of the scholars.
To call it a false bayaan is incorrect as most of the members agreed to it as is clear. Sheikh Rabee' was pleased with it and praised the brothers that signed and supplicated for them for they sought rectification.

As for those that use any opportunity to spread mischief then Allaah is their reckoner.

Thumbs up Allaahul-Musta'aan! A "False Bayaan"? Agreed to in front of Shaikh Rabee'?

    Allaahul-Musta'aan!

SO AFTER the advice of al-'Allaamah Rabee' al-Madkhalee, ash-Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee and ash-Shaikh Abdullaah al-Bukhaaree, a group from Masjid ar-Rahmah and it's admin listened, benefited and compiled a Clarification and Retraction, as explained by our Noble brother Abdulilaah Lahmami (hafidhahullaah) above.

Thereafter another faction of the admin within the Masjid decided not to take the advice of al-Allaamah Rabee, Shaikh Muhammad and Shaikh Abdullaah al-Bukhaaree. They claimed the above bayaan was false. Wallaahul-Musta'aan! They further go on to claim that the posting of this "bayaan" is "deceiving the people" and it is not the position of Masjid Rahmah. Yet Sheikh Rabee' advised that "those who agreed with the bayaan should sign it and those that didn't their situation will become clear as to why they wouldn't sign."

So here we remind them about the advice of Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee regarding those for whom it is feared misguidance. Shaikh Muhammad clearly advised Masjid ar-Rahmah to not to follow the path of Brixton Mosque - the path that led them to misguidance. Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee (hafifhahullaah) stated:

"And we hope those errors that have occurred from them will not be repeated by our brothers. This is my advice, and if the errors are repeated, then then it will be hurtful and they will be considered to be blameworthy. And then the end result for these brothers at Masjid Rahmah will be like the end result of that which occurred with those of Brixton Masjid in London! That they ended up with Abul-Hasan, Ali Hasan and those types of people, that which occurred with Abdul-Haqq Baker and whoever was with him such as Abu Haajir and others. They came to me here many times, and I would advise them. And what became apparent is that they are not truthful (laysoo saadiqeen)! These people from Brixton Masjid would sit with me and listen and say "yes" and then go and do the opposite! But this in reality did not harm except themselves!"
May Allaah guide those at Masjid Rahmah who rejected this bayaan to rectification. Our mashayikh do not wish for them that they end up like Brixton and Luton in the UK. However, considering that "madeenah dot com" have supported Brixton and Luton for many years, maybe it is no wonder that individuals within Masjid Rahmah have been convinced by the da'wah of "madeenah dot com" - especially when one considers that the above bayaan is so critical of the figureheads within "madeenah dot com".

So may Allaah expose the evil of Abu Abdullaah Muhammad Akhtar Chaudhury (of Madeenah dot com), who during every time of difficulty fans the flames of discord and fitnah! This person spreads far and wide oppositions to Salafi Manhaj, lies to the Shaikhs and deceives the Salafis. He uses his mailing list (@fatwaonline.com) to deceive the inattentive Salafis, and cause them to doubt in the Scholars - he is not a follower of evidences but a muqallid of what suits his desires.

Recently he sent out on his mailing list this "new" bayaan which opposes what was agreed to with Shaikh Rabee' bin Haadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah). Let's see if Chaudhury has the courage to confront Shaikh Rabee' and Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee with this misdeed, and inform them of what he did. Not likely!

Let us see if he can produce any Scholar he sought direction from before sending out this document that contradicts what was agreed to in front of Shaikh Rabee', the Imaam of the Sunnah and the Imaam al-Jarh wat-Ta'deel. Not likely!

Did Chaudhury pick up the phone and ask Shaikh Rabee' or Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee before sending out this counter-bayaan? No he did not.

Chaudhury who is so quick and hasty in promoting the people of deviation such as Suhaib Hasan, Brixton and Luton (al-Ma'rabi, Ali Hasan, Maghrawi), Green Lane Mosque and Jam'iyyah Ihyaa Turaath has once again lived up to expectations. Once again he has shown his true colours and his love of fitnah and opposition! O Salafi, unsubscribe from his "@fatwaonline" mailing list which more worthy of the title "@fitnahonline.com"!

For your reference we have attached below the "Disclaimer on the False Bayaan" - Two members of the Masjid Rahmah admin signed their names to it - and it was sent out to thousands by Abu Abdullaah Muhammad Akhtar Chaudhury without consultation with any of the Shaikhs who had originally advised Masjid Rahmah! The question begs, "Why??"

We wonder as to who was lurking in the dark shadows advising these two members of the admin to oppose the bayaan and regard it to be a "falsification"! Why were they not advised to return to our father, the noble scholar Shaikh Rabee', for advice before writing? Why did not these "madeenah dot commers" advise them to fear Allaah, and not oppose what was agreed to with Shaikh Rabee'? Why did they instead send out a "falsification" claim that flies in the face of what was supported by Shaikh Rabee'?!

We repeat here what our brother Abdulilaah stated above:

To call it a "False Bayaan" is incorrect as most of the members agreed to it as is clear.Sheikh Rabee' was pleased with it and praised the brothers that signed and supplicated for them for they sought rectification.

As for those that use any opportunity to spread mischief then Allaah is their reckoner.
Here is the PDF of the "Disclaimer" from what was agreed to and supported by Shaikh Rabee'! Wallaahul-musta'aan!
