Examine A Claimant to Salafiyyah for Three Foundations

Bismillah:

In these days and times, the claimants to Salafiyyah are many. However, there are foundations to Salafiyyah that must be actualized to validate one’s claim.

Shaykh, Dr. Muhammad Baazmool, may Allah protect him, mentions three foundations in his book al-Manhaj al-Salafee (1)/(2). He says:

The foundations of Salafiyyah are three:

1. Making all acts of worship sincerely for Allah (3)
2. Clinging to the jamaa’ah and hearing and obeying (4)
3. Warning from innovations and innovators (5).

---

So, let us evaluate and examine all who claim Salafiyyah, ourselves firstly, according to these three foundations.
