as-salaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh,

In this article on Sahab.net (http://www.sahab.net/home/?p=361) (from his explanation of Riyaad-us-Saaliheen), Sh. Uthaymeen رحمه الله discusses the permissibility of cutting the prayer when either of one's parents call a person. His discussion follows from a section of a hadeeth (of Jurayj) that reads:

He (rahimahullaah) says:

He expands on this issue further in the article. Continue reading here (http://www.sahab.net/home/?p=361): http://www.sahab.net/home/?p=361
